Our Story - How it all evolved

Established in January 2022, Canine Evolutions has its roots in the Innovative Sport Dog Community (ISDC), which was originally founded in 2010 and previously based in Tenino, WA. Nestled in the stunning foothills of Mount Saint Helens and Mount Ranier, Canine Evolutions is dedicated to helping individuals and their furry companions thrive in a conflict-free environment.

The ISDC initially focused on assisting people and their dogs in various sports, such as Schutzhund and Ring Sport. Over the past decade, it has evolved to emphasize educating individuals about animal behavior and fostering a relationship with any dog through a relationship-based training system called "From Tyrant to Teacher."

Building upon this philosophy, Canine Evolutions continues the legacy of the "From Tyrant to Teacher" approach, with a primary focus on educating individuals on how to live harmoniously and enjoy a conflict-free life with their canine companions. Our training program is dedicated to addressing anxiety, aggression, and behavior modification in dogs, promoting a positive and healthy relationship.

Canine Evolutions is also a premier destination for individuals seeking to learn about animal behavior and relationship-based dog training. Our goal is not to kickstart a dog training career, but to maximize knowledge on how dogs learn and to cultivate the best possible relationship with their current and future canine companions.
